Dr. Robert Turner, Sr.

Union Baptist College and Theological Seminary has justified its existence in the training of ministers and other Christian workers for over seventy-four years. We are proud of our heritage and the outstanding contributions that we have made to the Greater New Orleans Area, State and Nation.

Our Mission is to prepare students for Christian ministry. As an educational institution our calling consists of preparing persons to lead congregations in Worship, witness, mission and Christian education. We provide a Theological and Biblical arena for the ministers and the laity to pursue learning that joins minds and heart in the fulfilling of their calling.

It is the purpose of Union Seminary to adhere to the rules and regulations, course offerings, and financial charges as announced in its catalog and in other publications. The Seminary, nevertheless, reserves the right to withdraw and subject, to change its rules affecting the admission and retention of students or the granting of credits or degrees, and to alter its fees and other charges, whenever such changes are desirable or necessary.

We are a registered member of the Board of Regents, State of Louisiana, approved by The Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs for the training of veterans; an Accredited member of the Accrediting Commission International.
